Our Sustainability Policy
Being Sustainable…
Principles We Reflect in Our Daily Lives That Are Not Just Words
We believe that all sustainable development goals, especially the environment, are the greatest levers for corporate progress and innovation. Beyond our company and employees, we encourage other companies in which we hold shares to implement existing norms in this area and develop solutions to further advance them. We believe that true sustainability is not simply a matter of issuing statements or signing international documents. We believe in the necessity of implementing our understanding of sustainability within the framework of our daily business practices.
Within the framework of our sustainability approach, we attach great importance to raising awareness not only of our company and employees but also of society, managing environmental risks, reducing our carbon footprint within the scope of the services we provide, and designing new services we create or create in the future to be innovative in terms of the environment and sustainability.
While we are not a manufacturing company or a factory, we at Binovative consider ourselves an "idea factory" in terms of our consulting activities. We believe that our goal of ensuring the longevity of our company and the services we provide will be successful only to the extent that they align with sustainable development goals. To ensure that our sustainability approach is not merely rhetorical but also put into practice, the measures we are taking and our future goals are as follows:
-
aking into account the negative impact of every action we take, within the scope of our activities, on nature and the use of natural resources.
-
Reducing the carbon footprint generated by travel related to our work as a company and as employees, by using online meeting systems whenever clients do not specifically request in-person meetings and when physical meetings are not genuinely necessary.
-
Choosing the offices and premises we own or rent by considering the energy- and resource-saving measures implemented by the buildings or landlords, as well as their level of clean energy use.
-
Selecting all equipment we use in line with circular economy principles, giving priority to durability, suitability for long-term use, recyclability and reparability.
-
Factoring in environmental and broader sustainability criteria for all products and services we purchase within the scope of our activities, and, even where prices are somewhat higher but still acceptable, giving preference to those that meet these criteria.
-
Informing all our stakeholders, solution partners and suppliers about the measures we take in this area and encouraging them to adopt and apply similar standards in their own activities.
-
Measuring our progress against the annual targets we set, sharing the results with our employees, and, every three years, deciding on new measures to further raise our level of ambition.
We see it as our responsibility to design dedicated programmes that raise awareness among the university students we train in this field, and to build partnerships with NGOs and other stakeholders active in sustainability. In both our core business and our social responsibility projects, we place great importance on ensuring that any new products, services or business models we help bring to life are aligned from the outset with sustainable development goals, particularly in relation to the environment – or, at the very least, are designed so they can become compatible with these goals over time. We make a conscious effort to highlight this dimension and to actively support teams in integrating sustainability into their innovation journey from day one.
