Dr. Erdal Kemikli

With more than 30 years of experience in information technologies, digital transformation, total quality management, innovation and strategic planning, Erdal Kemikli has developed and led numerous innovative projects across different industries.

At Tekstilbank, he played a key role in developing Türkiye’s first multi-tier, open-technologies-based banking application. At KoçSistem, he defined the processes for software and consulting services and aligned them with CMMI standards. As Head of Information Technologies at Otokoç Otomotiv, he launched a dealer management system that supports all core processes. In addition to Information Technologies, he has also led key corporate functions such as Total Quality Management and Strategic Planning. By initiating new programmes in areas such as digital transformation, innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainability and carbon transition, he has played an important role in preparing the company for the future.

Kemikli graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University and completed his master’s degree in Computer Engineering at Ege University, followed by a PhD in Control and Computer Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. He has previously taught courses on information management and strategic planning in information technologies at Boğaziçi University and currently teaches CRM at Marmara University.
